2013-14: Swam in five events at the VT Challenge to open the season, including a ninth-place finish in the 100 IM and an eighth-place in the 400 IM...won the 200 IM against Howard...third in the 200 free against Davidson...fifth in the 200 free at W&L tri-meet.
2013 CCSA Championships: Placed 19th in the 200 IM, setting a new personal best in the process...finished 12th in the 400 IM...had the 19th quickest time in the preliminaries of the 100 free.
2012-13: Did not swim in competition until the tri-meet at Limestone...second in the 200 IM against W&L.
2012 CCSA Championships: Was 15th and 7th in the B final of the 400 IM...set a new personal best in the prelims of that event, 4:23.63...finished 19th in 200 IM (2:02.37)...tied for 14th in the 100 free (49.34).
2011-12: Won 200 free vs. Pfeiffer and Randolph-Macon...second in 200 and 400-meter freestyles at Mount St. Mary’s...second in 200 free at GW...third in 500 free at that meet...third in 400 IM versus Limestone.
2011 CCSA Championship: Advanced to B final in 500 free, finishing 15th overall…finished 14th in 200 free…was 17th in 100 free…also swam on 800 free relay.
2010-11: Posted the Keydets top five 200 free times, along with the top four times in the 500 free...when converted from meters, Bowers had a 1:49.27 time (200) Oct. 29 at Mount St. Mary's...was a part of the Keydets top 400 free relay on the year, which occurred Dec. 4 at Howard.
High School/Personal: Four-year letterwinner at Kellam...advanced to District/Region all four years, and States last three...won District title in 400 free and 200 IM senior season...was top 24 in the 400-meter open water swim and run, swim, run at the National Lifeguard Competition in Fort Lauderdale, Fla...also swam for Old Dominion Aquatic Club...went to Senior Champs sophomore-senior years...also went to NCSA Junior Nationals during junior season...plans to major in International Studies.
