2009-10: Team Captain...Turned in the Keydets' top 100 breast time, coming at St. Peter's...Also swam on VMI's fastest 400 free, 200 medley and 400 medley relays...Competed in all but one meet.

2009 CCSA Championship: Placed 14th in the 100 free (49.37) and 15th in the 100 breast (1:02.30), turning in career-best times in the finals of both events...Also competed in the 50 free, swimming a career-best 22.25...Swam on the 200 free relay that placed fourth and the 400 medley and 400 free relays that both finished fifth.

2008-09: Competed in all but one meet.

2008 CCSA Championship: Finished 12th in the 100 breast (1:03.85)...Placed 13th in the 200 breast with a career-best 2:24.32 in the finals...Swam the top 200 IM time of his career in the prelims...Also competed in the 400 medley relay.

2007-08: Competed in each event in the first semester and against Davidson and Virginia Tech at Radford....Swam the team's fastest time in the 100 breast at the Thomas Murphy Invitational...Also turned in VMI's fastest 200 breast at the Yellow Jacket Invitational...Also swam the second leg for the Keydets' top times of the season in the 200 medley and 400 medley relays.

2007 NEC Championship: Placed third in the 100 breast (1:05.67)...Also took third in the 200 breast (2:26.60)...Took seventh in the 200 IM, with a time of 2:13.73 in the finals.

2006-07: Competed in every event...Turned in top season times in the 200 breast and 200 IM events at Yellow Jacket Invitational.

Personal: Son of Ronald and Bonnie Ferrell...Lettered twice in wrestling at 160 lbs. and ran for the track & field team...Swam for Shady Grove YMCA on the USS team... Cumulative high school GPA above 4.0...Helped summer team to win League Championship... Participated in three triathlons last summer, winning his age group in two of those...Holds the position of RDC Representative in the VMI Corps of Cadets…Civil Engineering major.
