2009-10: VMI's top competitor in the fly, claiming the team's top times in the 50, 100 and 200 fly races...Swam on the Keydets' fastest 400 medley relay of the season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational...Competed in every meet of the season.

Personal: Son of Rory and Ruth Covert...Competed for NOVA Swimming, SwimQuest and for the Virginia Association for Competitive Swimming...Won multiple Coaches' Awards...­Institute Scholar...Majoring in Electrical Engineering.
