Biography
2024-25: Placed in the top three 14 different times and claimed two first-place marks between the IM and breaststroke…took home a fifth-place finish in the 200 Breast at the America East Championships…placed 11th in the 200 IM at the league meet…put up the fastest times for VMI in the 200 Breast and 400 IM…honored with the VMI Frank Summers Award...landed on the SoCon Honor Roll.
2023-24: Posted a team-best in the 200 Breast, 200 IM, and 400 IM at the America East Championship…took home second in the 400 IM with a record-breaking performance, falling by less than two-tenths of a second to the first-place finisher…recorded a fifth-place mark in the 200 Breast and tallied seventh in the 200 IM all at the league championship.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Earned all-state honors in high school and was the runner-up twice … a captain for two seasons … also competed for the South Carolina Swim Club … was a junior national qualifier in the 200 breast and a futures qualifier in the 100 breast, 200 IM and the 400 IM...son of Jonathan and Katherine Griffith.
