2011-12: Competed in 400 IM versus Pfeiffer…swam 1000 free against  Randolph-Macon…finished fourth in 500 free against Gardner-Webb…placed 12th in 200 IM at JMU meet…third in 1650 free against Limestone.

2011 CCSA Championships: Placed 12th in the 400 IM…anchored fifth-place 400 medley relay…was 14th in the 1650 free…finished 18th in the 500 free.

2010-11: Was third in both the 500 and 1000 free at NC State...posted a personal best 200 IM time versus Gardner-Webb.

2010 CCSA Championship: Finished ninth in the 1650 free, his first career top-10 finish at the CCSA’s...also swam a career-best time...was 17th in the 200 free.

2009-10: Anchored VMI’s fastest 800 free relay of the season at the Yellow Jacket Invitational…Competed in all but one meet.

2009 CCSA Championship: Placed 12th in the 500 free (4:58.29) and 14th in the 200 free (1:50.44), swimming a career-best time in the finals of each event…Just missed out of the consolation finals by coming in 17th in the 100 free (50.94) with a career-best time…Also swam on the 800 free relay that placed fifth and on the 400 free relay.

2008-09: Competed in each meet.

Personal: Son of Richard and Doreen Howard…Four-year letterman on the swim team at FCA…Placed ninth in the 200 free and 18th in the 100 breast at State…School record holder in several free events and the 100 and 200 breast…Two-year letterman as a goalie on the soccer team…Swam for the Bristol Area Swim Association…Ranked in Top 5 of graduating class…Eagle Scout… Ranks as a Company Corporal in the VMI Corps of Cadets…Civil Engineering major.
