Could be a darkhorse at Championships this season due to his improved training regimen.
2007-08: Competed against Gardner-Webb at Radford, at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, against the College of Charleston and against Davidson and Virginia Tech at Radford.
2006-07: Competed in both the 200 yard medley and freestyle relays at JMU and Virginia Tech...Also swam an exhibition in the 500 yard freestyle at Davidson.
Personal: Son of Kenneth & Lisa Baity...Four-year letterwinner in swimming at Jefferson Forest under Coaches Reichert & Davidson...Participated in State Championships... Also swam for the Forest Area swim team and Lynchburg swim team...Won the Work Ethic Award...Participated in the Lynchburg “A” meet...Ranks as a Cadet Corporal in the VMI Corps of Cadets...International Studies & Political Science major.
