Academic Oversight: Football, Basketball, Baseball, and Women’s Soccer
Mykayla Dutkus was promoted in July of 2020 to serve as the Director of Athletic Academic Services & Compliance at VMI.
Dutkus has served in the VMI Cadet-Athlete Development office for the past two years and was promoted in March 2019 to serve as the Assistant Director of Academic Services and Compliance. For the 2018-19 academic year, she served in the capacity of an Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Services.
She has worked with cadet-athletes from most sports at the Institute including football, men's soccer, rifle, wrestling, water polo, swimming and diving, lacrosse, cross country and track and field.
Before arriving at VMI in 2018, Dutkus served as a compliance and eligibility graduate assistant for two years at the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.
A native of Orange, California, she played collegiate basketball at Cal State University, Monterey Bay where she was rostered from 2011 through 2016. Dutkus received a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in management and international communications from CSU Monterey Bay in May 2016. She went on to earn an MBA in marketing from the University of La Verne in March 2018.
