2016: Finished second on the team in shot attempts with 15 during the course of the season … started nine of 17 games played during the year, seeing action in every match … scored a goal at Furman on Oct. 15 … earned a season-high four shots against Wofford in the home finale … logged three shots against ETSU on Oct. 18 … tallied 872 minutes on the pitch during the season, including a season-high 75 minutes in the season finale at Wofford on Nov. 5.

2015: Named to the SoCon All-Freshman team after the season for his accomplishments during the year … a forward, led the Keydets with two goals on the season and added one assist to tally a team-high five points on the year ... his 12 shot attempts tied for second most on the team with six on frame for a .500 shot-on-goal percentage … worked way into the starting lineup as a true freshman … started 10 of 15 games played during the season … scored a goal in a close 3-2 overtime loss at ETSU on Oct. 2 and another in a loss at Mercer on Oct. 24 … registered a season-high three shots against Wofford on Oct. 6 on the road.

High School: Coached by Brent Walston at Corinth Holders High in Wendell, NC … holds the school record with 87 over his career … lettered four years in soccer, three in baseball and one in both football and tennis … as a forward, was named All-State, All-Region and All-Conference at various times over the four years … played club soccer for the Carolina Soccer Club 96 Select, the NC Alliance A Team and the JUSA A team … named the 2015 Ross Rinfrow Male Athlete of the Year … named the FBLA state champion for the hospitality and management category in 2015.

Personal: Parents are Jake and Amber Austin … has one brother and two sisters … plans to major in civil engineering … father played collegiate baseball at Wake Forest and professionally with the Pittsburgh Pirates organization.
