Nick Regan

Nick Regan joined the VMI Men’s Soccer Coaching Staff for the 2020-2021 season. It is Nick’s first coaching job at the NCAA level. Regan is originally from Yateley, United Kingdom, but did his collegiate studies in the United States. Nick attended North Iowa Area Community College, where he was part of the Men’s Soccer team from 2008-2010. Nick graduated with his Associate’s Degree in 2010. Regan went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management from Devry University. While studying at Devry, Nick played a season with the Orlando City S.C. U23 team. Nick received a MBA from Purdue University in 2020. He also has playing experience for Fleet Town F.C. (UK) from 2005-2008. Since graduating from Purdue,

Nick has worked as the Senior Project and Operations Manager for a high tech company who oversees projects from companies such as Amazon, IBM and HPE.

Nick will work predominantly with the program’s goalkeepers. He will also use his tech background to focus on the program’s sports science data tracking devices and analysis of data for performance. Finally, he will play a significant role in recruiting.

Regan joins the staff with the desire to continue his love for the game at a school that he has the utmost respect for. He states, “As a keen admirer of American history, I have always greatly respected VMI and its proud place in the American story. To be given an opportunity to contribute to that story is a huge honor.”

Nick holds his USSF “E” License and is currently working on his USSF “D” License.
