2011-12: Outdoors, finished sixth in the 800 at the Big South Championships...also scored in the 1,500, finishing eighth...set a new 800 PR at the Fred Hardy Invite (1:53.21), where he placed 10th...closed out his career with a third-place finish at the Radford Invitational...competed in his first career 8K at the Furman Invite, finishing 10th...recorded a PR of 25:54 at the Queens Invite to finish 33rd overall...was 32nd at the Big South Championships.

2010-11: Had a strong indoor season, including finishing fifth in the mile at the conference championships...was a part of the world-leading and IC4A champion 4X800-meter relay team, which posted a 7:24.70 time...also a part of the Big South-winning DMR team...had a seasonal-best time of 1:55.52 in the 800, recorded at the Hokie Invitational...competed at the VMI/W&L Carnival to start the outdoor season, but suffered an ankle injury while pacing Felix Kitur to a then-DI leading time in the 800...sat out the rest of the outdoor season...did not compete during the cross country season.

2009-10: Gonsalves rounded into a solid complement to Felix Kitur throughout his first VMI season...clocked in at a season best 1:54.52 at the Lou Onesty Invitational at UVA in April, finishing fifth in the 800...ran a 1:54.66 at the Military Championships...clocked in at 1:55.83 at the Big South Outdoor Championships, finishing 11th...did make the finals of the 1,500 however, and finished 10th...was seventh in that event at the Military Championships...competed on the all-conference DMR team during the indoor year...was also 12th in the 800 and 10th in the mile at that meet...had VMI's fastest 1,000-meter time of the year, a 2:31.61 at the Virginia Tech Challenge...will be a co-captain of the 2010 cross country team.

High School/Previous School: AAU All-American 1,500-meter run...2007 All-State (VA) 800-meter run...competed at Barton County Community College in Kansas during 08-09 season.
