THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN - Applied Mathematics Major

One of three returning starters on the squad…energetic forward who gives the team scoring, rebounding, and strong defensive play…will be counted on for experience.

2015-16: Started all 26 games in which he played …did not play four games in late February because of injury… finished fourth on the team in scoring with an 8.0 average…third on the team in rebounding averaging 4.7… scored in double figures in seven games during the season…scored a season-high 15 points at Butler Dec. 7 when he hit six of 11 shots and connected on 3 of 4 from 3-point range…had his first career double-double of the year when he scored 10 points and hauled in 11 rebounds at Campbell Nov. 30…scored 13 points at Gardner-Webb Dec. 21 and 12 points vs. Wofford Jan. 5…scored 11 points at Mercer Jan. 28 and scored 11 points with six rebounds at The Citadel Jan. 30…scored eight points with nine rebounds against UNCG Feb. 11…had 11 games with five or more rebounds.

2014-15: Saw his playing time increase from freshman year and played in all 30 games with 16 starts at forward…started the first eight games of the year before coming off the bench and being used as a spot starter the rest of the season…started the season in dramatic fashion when he nailed a three-pointer with 19 seconds left to lift VMI past The Citadel 66-65 in the season opener at West Point in the All-Military Classic…Scored in double figures eight times including a season-high 16 points in win versus ETSU Jan. 17…produced 15 games with four or more rebounds…pulled down seven and eight rebounds respectively in consecutive games against George Washington and ETSU…hit all five shots from the floor in a 14 point game against Johnson…was 8 of 12 from the free throw line at ETSU Jan. 17 and had a season-high five steals…blocked three shots vs. Chattanooga Jan. 26.

2013-14: Played in all 35 games and was a key contributor off the bench averaging 17.2 minutes a contest…was one of the first players off the bench but did make three starts against Clemson, Washington College, and Longwood… hit double-figures scoring three times including 16 points against William & Mary Nov. 27, 11 points against East Carolina Dec. 19, and 10 points against Charleston Southern February 8…had five or more rebounds in nine games…grabbed a season-high six rebounds against Virginia-University of Lynchburg and Radford January 15…was 3-of 3 in three-point shots against East Carolina Dec. 19…converted five of six free throws at Charleston Southern February 8.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at independent school power house Wesleyan Christian Academy (Greensboro, N.C.) coached by Keith Gatlin…started prep career at Greensboro Day.
