THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN/ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS MAJOR
Should be a key contributor to the outside shooting game once again…can give the team a lift from the perimeter…has improved range and looks to consistency for his senior year…has the ability to take over a game when he has his rhythm...will be counted on for point production again.
2014-15: Played in 30 games with 16 starts at shooting guard…was second on the team in scoring average with 11.7 points per game…was second in the SoCon in 3-pointers made per game (2.9)…scored in double figures in 17 games…had the best two game stretch of his career when he scored 25 points against Furman including eight 3-pointers Feb.12 and followed up with a career-high 26 points against The Citadel with a school record tying 9 treys-was 15 of 34 beyond the arc during those two games…nailed six treys in win at Western Carolina Feb. 21…hit 4 or more 3-pointers in 10 games during the year…scored 20 points vs. Mercer (Dec. 6) and Marist (Dec. 17)…pulled down a season-high seven rebounds vs. ETSU Jan. 17.
2013-14: Played a key role in VMI’s late-season stretch run through the CIT…hit double figures in four of the last eight regular season games and averaged 10.2 points in those games…shot 34% from three-point range which was second only to Rodney Glasgow’s 39%...scored a season-high 19 points against Washington College and was 4-of-7 from long range…also hit four 3-pointers in a 15-point outing at High Point…scored 10 and 12 points in CIT wins over Canisius and IPFW… had 16 of his 30 total three-pointers over the last eight games of the year.
2012-13: Played in all 31 games his freshman year and averaged 15.3 points per game...ranked fifth on the team in scoring averaging 6.5 points per game...reached double figures scoring in five of the first 12 games the season....converted eight of 10 free throws on his way to a season-high 18 points against Campbell February 16...also tallied 18 points against Shenandoah January 2 when he nailed a season -high five 3-pointers in six attempts... hit four of seven trays in a 14-point outing at George Washington...scored in double figures in three consecutive conference games in January (High Point, Gardner-Webb, Radford) averaging 11.8 points and shooting 35% from 3-point range...converted four three-point goals at Charleston Southern Feb. 21 on his way to a 15-point night...had six games of at least four 3-point goals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 14.6 points and 5.3 rebounds as a senior...First Team All-Beach District and All-Tidewater Honorable Mention...hit 57 three-point field goals...team won Beach District.
