Biography
THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN/CIVIL ENGINEERING MAJOR
A veteran performer who can rise to the occasion and produce some big games…has been both a starter and reserve player on the front line…looked to wind up career with a big senior campaign…has 3-point range…will add depth to the front line…Civil Engineering major.
2011-12: Played in 32 games with 19 starts and lettered for the third time…started the season with a bang with a career-high tying 14 points and career-high nine rebounds in win over The Citadel November 11…also scored 14 points against Alice Lloyd November 15 and 14 points versus Asheville February 2…hit 5 of 6 shots from the floor in an 11-point outing against Charleston Southern Dec. 3…pulled down six rebounds at Old Dominion December 22…started 12 of the first 13 games of the year before coming off the bench for the remainder of the year with the exception of a six-game starting streak from Feb. 2 through Feb. 18…hit all four free throw attempts against Milligan December 10.
2010-11: One of four Keydet players to appear in all 31 games on the season…scored in double figures in eight games including four of the first of the first seven contests of the year and averaged 10.9 points and 5.1 rebounds over that span…sparked VMI in early season win at UMBC Nov. 13 when he scored 14 points in 28 minutes including 5-of-7 from the field and three 3-point goals…scored a season-high 18 points against Central Penn when he hit 7-of-12 shots and pulled down 12 rebounds for his first career double-double to go along with four steals…drained four 3-pointers against Southern Virginia…scored 13 points in 18 minutes in late season win at Presbyterian College Feb. 24 and also had 11 points and six rebounds against Radford Feb. 12.
2009-10: Played in 24 games with 10 starts with all but one coming in conference play…hit double figures in scoring three times with a season-high 20 points against West Virginia Wesleyan when he scored 20 points…also hit double figures against Lynchburg College (17) and Liberty (11)…grabbed a career-high eight rebounds against West Virginia Wesleyan…converted eight of 17 shots from the field against West Virginia Wesleyan…made four of eight shots from the floor including three treys against Liberty January 28...lettered for the first time.
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped lead Hill to a 16-7 record and a second place regular season finish in MAPL and semifinals of State PA Independent tourney…was First Team All-Mid Atlantic Prep League…shot 55.6% from the floor and 42.3% from 3-point range last year at Hill while averaging 19.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game…logged 58 assists and 48 steals…posted the fifth highest season point total in Hill history with 443 points…averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds as a senior at Waynesboro High…can play both the small and power forward positions…was named All-District as Waynesboro advanced to the third round of the state playoffs in 2007-08.
