2008: Will serve as one of VMI's tri-captains this year...played in, and started, all 16 contests for the Keydets in 2008...grabbed 36 groundballs, including a season-high of six Apr. 19 versus Canisius...snatched a quartet of groundballs versus Presbyterian.

2007: Fired first collegiate shot 2/28 versus Presbyterian...earned first college start April 25 versus Mount St. Mary’s.

2006: Appeared in one game last year...selected to Big South Presidential Honor Roll...Dean’s List recipient.

High School/Personal: Three-year letterwinner in Lacrosse and football...named Defender of the Year in 2005...two-time team captain...team MVP and North Carolina 4A All-State Honorable Mention defenseman...National Honors Society member ... full name is William Romulus Yarborough Carlton, Jr....son of Susan and Will Carlton, Sr.
