2015: Played in three games over the course of the year … saw action against Richmond, Bellarmine and No. 8 Virginia ... named to the Dean's List for spring semester.

High School: Four-year letterwinner as an attackman at Deep Run High School for coach Doug Shaver … earned First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors as a senior and was the leading scorer and points leader … named a High School All-American as a junior, while also collecting First Team All-District honors … lead the team in scoring and points … named First Team All-District and District Player of the Year as a sophomore … named to Second Team All-Region and was the leading scorer and point getter … holds school records for goals and points … played for club teams Amped, Team Virginia and Code Lacrosse … member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Personal: Full name is Jacob Richard Shaver ... son of Doug and Wendy Shaver … has two brothers, Matt and Eric … father played lacrosse at Army while brother Eric is currently a sophomore on the VMI squad … plans to major in economics and business.
