2022: Threw six innings over nine games out of the bullpen … made his season debut on 3/5 against Binghamton, needing just five pitches to retire the side in his only inning.
2021: Recorded a win and two saves in 13 games, including four starts … earned saves in the first and last games of a series sweep against Mercer April 16-17 … threw five innings of shutout relief on April 3 at Samford, allowed just three hits and no walks with four strikeouts … picked up a win on 3/13 against JMU, scattering five hits and three walks with 5 Ks in five frames.
2020: Had a nice sophomore season, throwing 30 1/3 innings over four starts with 30 strikeouts and a 3.86 ERA and 2-2 record … he walked just four hitters on the year … ranked first in the Southern Conference in innings pitched and tied for fifth in strikeouts … threw a complete game 3/8 vs. Binghamton … tossed eight scoreless innings at North Florida with seven Ks and no walks for 5-1 victory on 2/16.
2019: Threw in 17 games with 13 starts as a true freshman … tossed one complete game … earned first collegiate win on May 17 vs. Eastern Illinois … allowed just one run in 4/18 start vs. Mercer, striking out four with three hits and no walks . a tough-luck loser on 3/23 at the Citadel, 8 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 4 Ks … helped set the school record for strikeouts in a game, fanning 13 over 4 2/3 innings vs. No. Kentucky, allowing just one hit and no walks out of the pen … threw five IP in a start vs. #14 Clemson, allowing three hits and three walks with four runs and four Ks … had a no-hitter through five before allowing a base hit in the sixth inning against UNCW on Feb. 15, his first collegiate start.
High School/Personal: Four-year letter-winner...played for Hometown Hawks and Richmond Braves travel baseball...named top-1000 player in country by Perfect Game, which also tabbed him #70 player overall in Virginia...named 18th-best RHP in VA by Prep Baseball Report...intends to major in civil engineering.
