VMI’s career wins leader that is expected to anchor the weekend rotation for the third-straight season.

2007: Won the second-most games in school history (nine) and became VMI’s career wins leader...Also tied for the second-most wins in the Big South Conference and ranked fourth in the League with a 3.09 ERA...Keydets went 11-4 in his 15 starts...Was named National Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association after allowing only three baserunners in 10 innings against VCU and Savannah State...Set the school’s career wins mark with his victory against Coppin State (4/13), allowing only three hits and no runs to win his 17th game as a Keydet...After struggling over a three-week span, bounced back with a fine effort against Liberty (5/19), allowing only two runs in six innings to collect his ninth win of the season.
Summer: Began the season with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod League...Made two appearances on the mound while going 1-for-2 at the plate with three RBI before being released due to roster availability...Appeared in eight contests, making five starts for the Peninsula Pilots of the Coastal Plain League...Went 2-3 with a 4.85 ERA, striking out 29 batters in 29.2 innings while allowing opposing batters to hit only .259...Helped lead the Pilots to the CPL Championship Game.


2006: Became the team’s ace and was voted Second Team All-Conference...Posted the third-highest single-season totals in school history with 98 strikeouts and 94.1 innings pitched...His seven wins tied the school record for most victories in a season...His .222 opponents’ batting average led the Big South Conference while his 98 strikeouts and 3.53 ERA ranked him in the top five...Team went 10-6 in his 16 starts...Allowed only two earned runs in the first three complete games of his career, with those coming against Charleston Southern (3/17), Coastal Carolina (5/6) and James Madison (5/17)...Named Big South Conference Pitcher of the Week and to the College Baseball Foundation’s National Honor Roll after his complete-game two-hit victory against Charleston Southern, during which he allowed only one unearned run while striking out six...Established a new career-high with 12 strikeouts vs. JMU...Earned first career save in series-clinching victory over #16 Winthrop (5/21)
Summer: While pitching for the Front Royal (Va.) Cardinals of the Valley League over the Summer, posted a 3-1 record in six starts, while his .213 opposing batting average and 50 strikeouts ranked him in the top five in the League in those categories...Led the team with a 2.36 ERA...Was then invited to finish out the summer as a member of the postseason roster for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod League.

2005: Made 15 appearances, including three starts...Went 2-1 on the season, striking out 28 batters in 31.0 innings...Earned a win in relief after throwing 3.0 innings vs. Navy (3/6)...Won his final start of the season against Georgetown, striking out five in 5.0 innings, both season highs... Allowed only one home run.

High School: Played first base and pitched at Greenbrier Christian Academy...Lettered four years in baseball and one each in football and golf...As a senior, posted an 8-3 record and a 0.69 ERA... Named VISBA State Player of the Year... Had a 4-0 record and a 0.51ERA his junior year.
