2014: Became a key member of the VMI bullpen in his final collegiate season...appeared in 25 games, more than twice the number he had pitched in the rest of his career combined...went 0-3 with one save and a 3.57 ERA...pitched shutout innings against Binghamton (3/9) and ODU (3/11)...fired 2 2/3 hitless innings in first conference series against Radford...posted 1 1/3 innings of scoreless ball in two outings at Gardner-Webb...closed out his first career save 4/9 against Richmond, thanks to a 1-2-3 ninth...did not allow a run in two outings during High Point series.

2013: Appeared in seven games on the season, posting a 1-2 record on a 5.59 ERA...picked up his first collegiate victory April 24 at Norfolk State...did not allow an earned run over his final three appearances.

2012: Was not on the spring roster.

2011: Pitched in three games in 2011…allowed two runs at Florida State during season opener…gave up single runs to Binghamton (Feb. 26) and High Point (May 21) in other outings.

High School/Personal: Honorable mention All-District at second base...letterwinner at Grassfield...played summer baseball for Lynn Haven in Virginia Beach...majoring in Economics and Business at the Institute...son of Pam and Bryan Ellis.
