2009: Made one relief appearance, retiring both batters he faced at James Madison (4/14), notching a strikeout.
    Summer: Made nine appearances, including three starts, for the Rockbridge Rapids of the Valley League, based in Lexington…went 0-3 with 20 strikeouts in 32 innings.

2008: Made two starts and appeared in seven games as a freshman…in 16.0 innings, notched 13 strikeouts while walking 12 batters…pitched four innings in relief in game three at Auburn (3/8), striking out five…worked in relief in the final game against Binghamton (3/1), scattering five hits in 2.1 innings, allowing no runs while striking out a pair…allowed one run on one hit in 1.1 innings against Charleston Southern (5/19), his first Big South appearance.

High School/Personal: Went 9-1 as a senior, leading Northside to the Virginia AA State Semifinals for the second-straight season…pitched a complete game in the first round of the Region III quarterfinals, while also slugging a three-run home run in a 5-4 win over Liberty…as a senior, had a 1.16 ERA, striking out 96 while walking 24 in 72.2 innings, pitching nine complete games while leading Northside to a Blue Ridge District regular season championship…went 29-6 in his career, notching 297 strikeouts in 228 innings while posting an ERA of 1.71…two-time First-Team All-District and All-Region selection…also earned Honorable Mention All-State honors…won a 5-1 decision over Dan River to advance Northside to the State semifinals as a junior...son of Mark and Alice Flora…played for the Richmond Braves National Travel Team….majoring in civil engineering.
