Biography

2020: Exploded for two homers, a double and a school-record nine RBI in game two vs. Quinnipiac on March 1 … For the day he went 5-8 with three runs, two doubles, two homers, 11 RBI and a walk … led the team with 16 RBI and was one of five Keydets to start all 17 games … committed just one error all season … earned first-team CoSIDA academic district 3 honors … also named to the VaSID All-State academic team … a member of VMI’s Elite Eighteen, composed of the cadet-athletes on VMI's NCAA intercollegiate teams who have performed the best academically at the end of a given semester … also on the Athletic Director’s Honor List and the Southern Conference Commissioner’s Medal.

2019: Emerged as one of the team’s best hitters in mid-April, getting his first start at DH in the series at Wofford … hit a team-best .340 with a .426 on-base percentage and .511 slugging percentage … delivered three hits and three RBI vs. EIU on 5/16 in a 5-4 victory … had three hits vs. VCU on 5/1 … went 2-4 with a double and a home run against Western Carolina on 4/28 … hit a pinch hit home run at Wofford on 4/12; got his first start at DH the next day and went 2-4 with a 2B…earned the win on the hill against St. Joe’s in the season opener, working four innings out of the bullpen.

2018: Pitched in seven games, two of which were starts...had no record and a 7.71 ERA...struck out 14 in 11 2/3 innings...gave up just eight hits but did struggle with control, allowing 18 walks...threw a shutout inning against Oakland March 4...allowed one run in 2 1/3 innings March 27 against Radford. 

2017: Appeared in five games and picked up two wins...won midweek starts against Longwood (3/29) and ODU (4/5) on staff days...finished the year 2-0 with an 11.57 ERA over five appearances.

High School/Personal: Four-year letter-winner at McLean HS...First Team all-conference as a LHP (twice)...6A Conference Player of the Year in 2016...three-year member of the Richmond Braves National Team...17U Impact World Series Champions...16U Tournament of Champions Winner...three-time winner of McLean's Athlete-Scholar Award...member of the National Senior Honor Society...aunt played basketball and competed in track and field at West Point...intends to major in economics and business.
