2010: Saw time at three different positions (2B, 1B, DH) and played in 27 games on the year…hit his first career home run in game three against Lafayette (2/28), a three-run shot…had a pinch-hit single in the eighth inning of game three at Liberty (4/18)…nailed an RBI single in the series finale against #7 Coastal Carolina (4/25)…went 1 for 2 against #18 Virginia Tech (4/27)…had a two-run triple in game two against Presbyterian College (5/21).
Summer: Hit .248 with 15 RBI for the Herndon Braves of the Cal Ripken League.
2009: Played in 18 games, making 13 starts, mostly at designated hitter…had an eight-game hitting streak in early March, hitting .440 (11-for-25) during the run…made his first start in the field at first base in game one at Virginia Tech (3/17)…was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in game two at Presbyterian (3/15); plated the eventual winning run in the seventh with a single to right field…in the series against Rider, hit .600 (6-for-10) with six RBIs and five runs scored.
Summer: Hit a team-best .296 for the Carney Pirates of the Clark Griffith League…led the team with nine doubles and a .443 slugging percentage…helped the team to a 29-10 record and a runner-up finish in the Jacobs Cup Playoffs.
