Biography
2020-21: Earned a spot on the 2020-21 America East Conference Swimming and Diving All-Academic Team ... placed in the top four in every event he competed in during the regular season…started the season with first place finishes with the 200 medley relay team, the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke for three consecutive meets…added first place wins in the 200 breaststroke and 200 freestyle relay at WVU Tech and another first place win in 200 breaststroke vs SVU…placed first in the 400 medley relay, 100 & 200 breaststroke, as well as second in 400 IM vs Mt. St. Mary’s…top four finishes in 200 medley relay, 200 freestyle, 50 freestyle, and a win 200 IM vs UMBC…competed in seven events at the American East Championships finishing 12th in 200 breaststroke and was top six in all other events…broke his own school record in 100 breaststroke for a time of 56.40, good for sixth at the American East Championships.
2019-20: Swam in multiple events earning school records…set 100 (56.94) and 200 (2:03.76) breast school records, as well as records in 200 (1:51.88) and 400 (4:04.65) IM for freshman and varsity …also member of record-breaking team for 800 freestyle relay (6:54.38), and the 200 (1:33.21) and 400 (3:26.56) medley relay teams for school records…finished in top ten in 200 IM, 400 and 800 freestyle relay, 200 and 400 medley relay, and the 100 and 200 breast competitions at the American East Championships…placed 12th in 200 IM, 10th on 400 medley and seventh on 400 freestyle relay, while also competing in 100 and 200 breast at the ECAC Championships.
