Biography
2020-21: Earned multiple first place finishes in his sophomore year…started season with a first-place performance in the 200 freestyle vs WVU Tech…added another first place in the 200 freestyle and a part of the 200 and 400 freestyle relay winning teams at WVU Tech…continued his first place streak in the 200 freestyle while also placing first in the 500 freestyle and third in the 200 freestyle relay vs SVU…for a third meet in a row, placed first in the 200 freestyle and top five in the 200 backstroke and the 400 medley relay third vs Mt. St. Mary’s…top five in the 400 freestyle relay, 100 backstroke, and 100 freestyle vs UMBC…earned fourth place in the 800 freestyle relay and top 20 in the 200 and 500 freestyle at the American East Championships.
2019-20: Swam freestyle and backstroke as freshman…member of 800 freestyle relay record-breaking team…also a member of 800 freestyle relay breaking a school record at American East Championships…placed fourth in 400 freestyle relay and top 12 finishes in 500 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and 200 backstroke…participated in 200 backstroke at ECAC Championships.
High School: Prepped at Cosby HS in Moseley, Virginia ... lettered four years in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, and swimming ... three-time all-region honoree and two-time all-state recipient in cross country ... finished in the state Top 10 for several events in indoor and outdoor track and field ... two-time state finalist swimmer .. swam the 200 freestyle and 100 freestyle ... participated in two USA Pentathlon camps in Colorado Springs.
Personal: Has two younger siblings ... plans to major in international studies and Arabic.
