Biography
2023-24: Broke the 100 Fly record with a time of 49.82…played a key role in a pair of record-breaking relays including the 200 and 400 Medley Relay…placed 12th in the 100 Fly final at the America East Championship.
2020-21: Showed improvement with each meet in his freshman year…placed second in the 200 medley relay at WVU Tech with a time of 1:43.86… took second in the 200 freestyle vs Mount…earned a third place finish in the 100-yard fly and second in the 200 fly vs SVU…had several season-highs at the American East Championships: improved his time to 52.59 in the 50 freestyle, improved 200 fly time to 2:01.36 in the finals, competed in the 100 freestyle finals of American East Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL: Was a team captain at Fort Mills High … top times: 100-fly – 51.23, 200 fly 1:55.38, 200 free 1:44.40 … competed with the Upper Palmetto YMCA Rays for five years and the YNationals and State Teams...son of Stephen and Kelly Blackwell.
