2012-13: Wrestled his sophomore season at 149 pounds … was the only Keydet to contest at that weight … finished with an 11-21 record … won four of his first seven matches of the season, including a 9-0 major decision at the Keystone Classic … fought off a slump to win seven matches January through February … won three straight Southern Conference matches, helping him finish 4-3 in league action.

2011-12: Wrestled all 35 of his freshman-season matches at 141 pounds … claimed victory on 17 of those occasions …first victory at VMI came as a third-period pin (6:26) of Gardner-Webb’s Travis Richardson at the Rat Rumble Open … won five of his first eight matches … big point scorer, claiming a pair of pins, two technical falls and four major decisions throughout the season … final win of the year was an 18-0 shutout of Davidon’s Benjamin Hartshorn at the Southern Conference Tournament

2010: Spent entire year in Ulbaanbaatar, Mongolia training with the Mongolian Sr. National Freestyle wrestling squad.

High School: A 2009 graduate of Brookville High School ... Four-time AA State Placewinner ... Four-time Seminole District Champion ... NHSCA All-American ... Placed fourth at 2010 Senior Nationals at 135 lbs. ... Placed third at 130 lbs. as a senior in AA State Championships ... Earned Region III title as a senior with a 43-2 record on the year.
