2011-12: Came out of his freshman season with 16 victories in 32 matches, the fourth-most wins for any wrestler at VMI … went 11-9 during tournament bouts … won five of his first seven matches as a Keydet … first two wins were a 16-4 major decision over Davidson’s Chris Cirenza and a second-period pin (4:44) against Adrin Taylor of Old Dominion … took fourth place at his first tournament, the Wolfpack Open while also claiming third at the Southern Conference Tournament … put together a five-bout winning streak late in the season, a career long. 

High School: Placed seventh at Virginia State Tournament and third in region as a senior ... Two-time district champion ... Earned MVP Award at Virginia Duals ...Two-time honor roll student at Phoebus.

Personal: Son of Lisette Joseph ... Will major in biology at VMI.
