2011-12: Capped the season with an 9-15 record between 184 and 197 pounds … wrestled 18 of his 24 matches at 184 pounds, including the SoCon Tournament … won eight of those matches, including a 5-3 decision of Gardner-Webb’s Jason Porter at the league tournament … run off four consecutive wins from Jan. 12-20, all dual matches … had best match of the season on Jan. 26 against Millersville’s Joel Sutter, picking up a technical fall 18-2.
2010-11: Started at 184 lbs. for the majority of the season … Totaled an 8-19 record on the year with a 5-9 dual record and 1-4 conference mark … Tied for third on team with two major decisions … Went 2-2 at the Southern Scuffle (12/29), defeating teammate Evan Dill by a 6-3 decision and Campbell’s Evan Mercikel by a 9-7 count … Lone SoCon win of season came against Ike Crews of Davidson (2/4) via a 10-0 major decision … Defeated George Mason’s George Scott (1/20) by a major decision 10-0.
2009-10: Wrestled five matches at 174 lbs, and a pair of matches at 197 … Went a combined 0-7 on the season … Was 0-1 in dual matches, as he was pinned by NC State’s Quinton Godley (1/9).
High School: Four-year letterman and three-time state qualifier at Thomas Dale ... Graduated with 149 victories and holds school records for career pins (84) and single-season wins (55), which he totaled as a senior ... Placed third in the Central Region and fourth at the Virginia AAA State Championships at 171 lbs ... Named to the 2009 Richmond Times-Dispatch All-Metro Team ...
