Started off season at 157 lbs
before dropping to 149 lbs six bouts into season … Participated in 31 bouts,
which was second on the team … Was 14-17 overall, and 2-3 in SoCon matches …
Was second on team in major decisions with three, defeating Darien Peele of Cam
Peele (11/8), Joey Montgomery of Liberty (1/27) and Carl Sandock of Davidson at
the SoCon Championships (3/6) … Defeated UNC Greensboro’s Matt Barbo via
technical fall (2/13) … Tied for third on the squad with a pair of falls,
coming against Joe McGinley of Davidson (11/8) and Davidson’s Ben Thompson
(1/22) … Placed third at the All-Academy Championships with a 2-1 record …
Compiled a 2-2 mark at SoCon Championships to place fourth.
2008-09: Won 11 matches,
including nine at 149 lbs...Led the team with two major decisions...Went 2-1 in
dual matches at 157 lbs., including a 10-3 win over Davidson's Carl Sandercock
in the team's dual match...Went 3-2 at the King College Open, competing at 149
lbs...Won an 18-7 major decision against Mike Bell at 157 lbs. in a dual
against Duke...Was named to the Big South Conference Presidential Honor Roll.
2007-08: Was not with the
team.
2006-07: Wrestled three
matches, going 1-2 at the VMI Rat Fall Brawl. 
High
School:
Maryland state champion as a senior at 130 lbs. after twice finishing as state
runner-up...Two-time regional champion and three-time county champion...Holds
school record and county record for career wins, posting a 144-19 mark...Also a
two-time state champion as a member of the Fallston Jr. Wrestling Club...Voted
outstanding senior wrestler by Maryland Coaches Association....Also competed at
the Virginia Duals and Disney Duals...lettered in cross country and track.
