the lone competitor for the Keydets at 125 lbs, compiling a 12-21 record … Went
9-10 in tournament bouts … One of five Keydets to place third at the
All-Academy Championship, going 2-1 in a trio of matches … Placed fourth at the
SoCon Championships, going 1-2 in the tournament … Placed sixth at the Keystone
Classic, compiling a 3-3 record … Earned lone pin of the season, defeating Matt
Devestine of Millersville (1/22).
2008-09:
Tied for second on the team with 14 wins, competing
exclusively at 125 lbs ... Placed fourth at the King College Open in the season
opener, going 4-2 ... Went 7-4 in dual matches, including 6-0 in non-conference
duals ... Scored his lone major decision of the year with a 12-3 win over
Duke's Peter Terrezza in the team's dual match ... Defeated Appalachian State's
Austin Annas, 5-1, in the team's Southern Conference dual.
2007-08:
Did not compete with the team and received a redshirt.
2006-07:
Competed in 12 of VMI’s 14 dual matches ... Placed fourth at the Davidson Open
at 125 pounds ... Pinned Mostafa Ibrahim of George Mason while wrestling his
lone match of the year at 133 lbs ... Defeated Tyler Sim of The Citadel for his
first SoCon win.
