2017-18: Played in 27 games in a reserve role as a true freshman...third on the team in scoring (7.3 PPG)...led or co-led VMI in scoring in four games...did not play against Furman, ETSU, and Western Carolina but returned to action against Mercer Jan. 18...had ten double-digit scoring games including the five of the last eight games...scored a season-high 14 points four times - against Duquesne Nov. 14, Ohio Valley Nov. 21, at Samford Jan. 29 and at Mercer Feb. 15…scored 13 points vs. WCU Feb. 8 and followed with 12 points vs. ETSU Feb. 10...scored 13 second half points to lead VMI in scoring in SoCon Tournament game against The Citadel Mar. 2...converted season-high four three-pointers at Mercer and was three of six beyond the arc against Duquesne...pulled down four rebounds at American and versus Southern Wesleyan…averaged 17.4 minutes a game –tops of any freshman reserve.

High School/Personal: Averaged 18.3 points and 7.0 rebounds for Village Christian (NC) School and played on the 2A NCISAA State Championship team as a junior...earned Fayetteville Observer All-Cape Fear All-Region Player of the Year, First Team Cape Fear All-Region Team and MVP of the South Granville Christmas Tournament...Ratliffe was also track and field athlete of the year and first team all-conference competing in the long jump, triple jump and 4 x 100 meter relay.
