2014: Appeared in six games as a sophomore, posting an ERA of 12.60...threw 2/3 of an inning without allowing a run against Buffalo (3/1), ODU (3/12) and Radford (3/15). 

2013: Appeared in three games as a true freshman...pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout March 19 against Norfolk State...retired only batter he faced April 21 at Campbell...also appeared in February against Buffalo...tallest player on VMI team since 2008 (Matt Murrer).

High School/Personal: Two-year letterwinner at Jefferson Forest HS...Rawlings All-East Coast Honorable Mention while playing for Richmond Braves travel team...Virginia Stars member...Team USA - North Atlantic...two-year letterwinner in basketball...son of Bill and Sherry Stafford...intends to major in Economics and Business.
