2012: Hit .315 in 32 games...started VMI's final 11 games...closed the year on a six-game hitting streak, and posted hits in eight of the final nine Keydet games...had three straight games with a double April 24-27...second on the team in hitting (.326) over the club's final 14 games...ranked sixth on the team in doubles despite having just 54 at-bats...posted a two-hit game (his first career) April 10 at VCU...scored two runs May 18 against East Carolina and was 3 for 5 with the go-ahead, two-run single that same day in the win over VCU.
High School/Personal: Earned All-District and All-Region his Junior and Senior year while receiving the best defensive player award (OF)…on the football field, was two-time All-District and two-time All-Region…qualified for the state track meet in the 4X100 relay, and also finished in the top five in the region in the 55-meter dash...son of Laurie Haynes.
