THREE-YEAR LETTERMAN/PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR
Dynamic and explosive player who can give the team a burst of energy...gives an athletic presence to the wing...has been both a starter and reserve in his career...could contend for all-conference honors...will be working to perform at a consistent and high level for his senior season.
2010-11: Ranked third on the team in scoring and was 11th in the BSC…made 63 treys which ranked sixth in the league and his 3-point percentage also ranked 6th in the BSC…led the team in steals (53) and ranked sixth in the league…scored in double figures in 23 games in 2010-11…scored a season-high 30 points against UMBC and nailed five 3-pointers…made six 3-pointers against Coastal Carolina in both the Jan. 6 and Feb 5 contests…grabbed a season-high eight rebounds against West Virginia and Randolph…converted eight of 16 shots from the floor including four treys at UNC Asheville Dec. 31…had five steals against Charleston Southern.
2009-10: Led Big South in 3-pointers made per game (3.00)…was fourth in the league overall in scoring (17.6)…ranked fourth in steals (1.96)…ranked 10th in FT% (.687)…in conference games, was fourth in conference games (17.0), sixth in steals (1.76), fourth in 3-point percentage (.310) and fourth in 3-pointers made per game (2.65)…scored in double figures in 25 of 29 games…had two 30-point games and scored 20 or more points in 10 games…scored 34 points against UNC Asheville (2/13) and had 24 points against Lynchburg (11/30)…nailed six three-pointers against George Mason, Charleston Southern, and Lynchburg College…hit five or more 3-pointers in seven games…logged four-steal games against UNC Wilmington, George Mason, Radford and UNC Asheville…hit 10 of 15 shots from the floor against Charleston Southern December 5.
2008-09: Ranked sixth in the Big South Conference in 3-pointers per game, sixth in the league in 3-point percentage and 14th in steals…in conference games, ranked seventh in 3-pointers per game, ninth in 3-point FG % and tied for eighth in steals…scored in double figures in 21-of-32 games as the team's first man off the bench…scored a career-high 34 points against Gardner-Webb Jan. 3, hitting 11-of-20 shots from the floor, 7-of-12 from 3-point range, and 5-of-5 free throws…named Big South Freshman of the Week Nov. 17 after scoring 20 points and hitting 4-of-6 3-pointers in his college debut at Kentucky, followed by 14 points against Virginia…also named Big South Player of the Week Dec. 8 after averaging 21 points in conference wins against Winthrop and UNC Asheville…logged a season-high eight steals against High Point (1/24)…lettered for the first time.
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 17.0 points and 4.0 rebounds during his senior year…also averaged three assists and three steals per game for the United Faith squad under coach Shaun Wiseman that posted a 31-3 record and finished runner-up in the 1A state championship…named to First Team All-Conference and First Team All-State Private Schools squads and was also picked to the All-Tournament team…was also selected to the Charlotte Weekly Newspaper Second Team and earned a spot on the Shootout by the Sea All-Tournament team.
