Justin Topping's Career Statistics

2010: Played in 35 games on the season, making 25 starts, most of which came as the designated hitter…hit .257 on the year with two home runs, both of which came in series with Gardner-Webb…had his career-best eight-game hitting streak snapped vs. Charleston Southern (.370)…hit .370 during the run with seven RBIs and five runs scored…drove in four of VMI's six runs in game two at Liberty (4/17)…hit .455 in the series with the Flames…in game one with UMES (3/5), went 2 for 2 with two runs, an RBI, a hit-by-pitch and a sac bunt.

2009: Played in 46 of VMI’s 53 contests, making 36 starts at designated hitter…slugged his first career home run in the third inning of game two at Charleston Southern (3/29); also had a double and went 3 for 5 with two RBI in that game against the Bucs…on the weekend against UNC Asheville, hit .364 (4-for-11) with two doubles, two runs scored and five RBIs…matched his career high with four RBIs in game two against UNC Asheville (3/21)…came on to pinch run in game two at Presbyterian (3/15), scoring the go-ahead run in the 7th before delivering a two-run single in the 8th of a 12-10 VMI win…went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored on opening day at #1 North Carolina (2/20).
