2008: Named Second Team All-Conference and Second Team All-State as a sophomore...Went 5-0 with two saves and a 1.95 ERA in 17 appearances...In 37.0 innings, had 30 strikeouts, 11 walks and only one home run allowed...Was nearly unhittable in Big South Conference play, allowing one run in 13.2 innings, striking out 13 with opponents hitting .100 in seven relief appearances... High School: Earned Richmond Times-Dispatch Metro Player of the Year honors after leading Monacan to the Virginia AAA State Championship last season...Went 12-2 with 83 innings pitched, registering 74 strikeouts and a 2.27 ERA in 83 innings for the state champs...As a junior, went 9-3 with a 2.60 ERA...Earned both First Team and Second Team All-District honors, as well as First and Second Team All-Metro and Honorable Mention All-Region accolades...A member of the 2005 Gold Medal winners at the Virginia Commonwealth Games...
