2014: Suffered a season-ending knee injury just before the spring season and missed the entire year. 

2013: Went 1-6 in her first year at VMI with a 1.89 goals against average and a .744 save percentage...shared time in goal with true freshman Emily Marbury...had a scoreless streak of 229:19 that stretched from the first half of Oct. 2's game against Longwood into the opening period of the Oct. 16 game at Liberty...victory was a shutout win over Gardner-Webb on Oct. 9 that broke a near-two year Big South losing streak for the Keydets...was also Nickerson's first game to play all 90 minutes at the Division I level...also played the entire way against Liberty, UNC Asheville and Radford...started 10 games overall. 

2012: Played at Southern Connecticut State, a D-II school located in New Haven, Conn…was the top keeper there last season, going 7-4-1 in 12 games and posting an 0.64 GAA with six clean sheets.

High School/Personal: Was a four-year letterwinner at York HS…two-time Second Team all-district…two-year team captain…played for Phoenix Elite and Virginia Legacy club teams…member of National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…intends to major in business and economics at the Institute.
