2009: Got on the field in a career-best five games, including three MAAC contests in the middle of the season...attempted two shots and grabbed a single groundball.

2008: Saw action in three contests in the early-to-mid portions of the season...attempted a shot and grabbed a groundball Feb. 27 versus Presbyterian.

2007: Played in two games during freshman campaign.

High School/Personal: Three-year middie at Parkville...recipient of the team’s Groundball Award...was team MVP of the Knights cross country team...attended the Towson and Harford Lacrosse Camps...Three-time Honor Roll selection...also played on the Perry Hall Rec. team and in the Parkville Indoor Lacrosse League...Mother Laura was a field hockey player for the Maryland Terrapins...full name is Jesse Luke Newman...son of David and Laura Newman.
