Keydets battle Winthrop on Saturday

LEXINGTON, VA – The VMI Keydets will face the Winthrop Eagles on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Patchin Field.

VMI is coming off two losses from a northern road trip, where they fell to Saint Peter's and Central Connecticut State. Senior Yeirin Mejia has had a stellar season so far for the Keydets as he leads the team with four goals. Senior Santiago Rocha has been reliable in the net, tallying 14 saves over the Keydets' first six games.
 
Winthrop enters the contest with a 2-1 record and coming off a loss to Southern Conference foe Wofford College.
