Keydets defeated by CCSU Monday afternoon

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The VMI Keydets were defeated by the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils by a score of 3-0 Monday afternoon at CCSU Soccer Field in New Britain, Connecticut.
 
CCSU's first goal came in the 12th minute off an unassisted shot, and their second point came in the 32nd minute. The Keydets kept the score at 2-0 through a good chunk of the second half but the Blue Devils struck again at the 76-minute mark for the game's final tally.
 
Senior goalkeeper Santiago Rocha tallied six saves in the contest, tying his season high in the category.

VMI will next be in action against the Winthrop Eagles on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Patchin Field.
