LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball got back on track with a 3-0 shutout victory over Longwood at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium Tuesday night.
The Keydets (27-17, 3-9 SoCon) snap their six-game skid after defeating Longwood (26-19, 8-7 Big South) in a rematch of last week's duel. VMI gets its fifth shutout of the year and first since March 14. With the triumph, the Keydets reach 27 wins for the third-straight season, tied for the fifth most single-season win total in program history.
