Roberts reaches 100-win milestone in Keydets' road victory

ARLINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball tacked on its third-straight win in a midweek duel against George Washington Tuesday evening at Tucker Field at Barcroft Park.
 
With the Keydets' 8-5 triumph over the Revs, head coach Sam Roberts eclipsed 100 career coaching wins, the fourth VMI coach to hit the mark in program history and the fastest coach to reach the feat. VMI, who moves to 20-4, also hit the 20-win mark for the fourth-straight season.

- VMI scored eight runs off 11 hits.
- Four Keydets had a multi-hit outing: Grayson Fitzwater, Bradley Garner, Ayden Schnarrs, and JW Kohlmeyer.
- Schnarrs scored two runs.

The Keydets begin conference play this weekend at East Tennessee State. VMI battles the Buccaneers Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
