Hoops for Hunger
The VMI SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) is sponsoring a food drive during the month of February to take down to Asheville as part ot the Southern Conference food drive competition between league schools.  Fans are encouraged to bring canned good items to donate and several bins will be placed around the front lobby to drop off the items as you enter Cameron Hall.

Ticket promotions will be announced at a later date regarding free or reduced cost regular General Admissions seating for VMI's three remaining home games during the month of February.

About the Paladins (16-10, 7-6)
Furman is also hungry for a win coming off three consecutive league losses to ETSU, UNCG and most recently to Mercer Wednesday night on the road. The Paladins find themselves in a three-way tie for fourth place in the league standings with a 7-6 conference record.

Alex Wilkins is one of the top scorers in the league averaging 18.1 points per game while Cooper Bowser (13.7), Asa Thomas (13.1) and Charles Johnston (10.0) also average double figures. Johnston also leads the team with 9.3 rebounds per outing and Wilkins directs the offense with 130 assists (5.0) for the season.

All-Time Series: 38-73
The Keydets look to pick up their 39th all-time victory against the Dins after dropping the last two. VMI defeated Furman last season by a 91-82 count in Lexington, which had not happened since January 1 of the 2021-22 season.

When the two schools squared off last month in Greenville, the Paladins held the Keydets to a season-low 48 points en route to a 69-48 win as VMI was held to 15 baskets during the game including nine three-pointers. Wilkins had a game-high 17 points in Furman's win while TJ Johnson logged 15 points for VMI.
