LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI basketball team embarks on a three-game road trip over the next eight days with the first stop at Cullowhee, North Carolina, where the Keydets will face Western Carolina Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

Originally scheduled for a 3:30 tip, the game was moved ahead two hours so VMI could get back on the road sooner to avoid traveling in this weekend's expected snow and ice conditions.

Last season's game in Cullowhee resulted in a thrilling 80-76 win in overtime for the Keydets.
