The Three-Legged Stool represents the core pillars of the VMI experience – academics, military training/leadership, and athletics – and is awarded to one cadet-athlete each year as voted on by VMI faculty and staff.
App State enters the week 4-4 overall, earning a dominating 46-4 win over SoCon foe, Presbyterian, in their conference opener last week. The Mountaineers went toe-to-toe with a pair of nationally-ranked opponents, including a tight 21-14 loss to No. 10 NC State at home and a close 31-12 defeat to No. 20 West Virginia.
The Mountaineers boast a pair of ranked wrestlers with No. 27 Kaden Keiser (FloWrestling) and #24 Tomas Brooker (FloWrestling/InterMat). Both Keiser and Brooker have each accumulated 16 victories, with four coming in duals.
