Keydets shut down in second half by Tommies

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Despite taking an early advantage, VMI Men's Soccer allowed St. Thomas to gain the lead in the second frame, resulting in a road loss at South Field Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Keydets (2-6-3) had momentum going into halftime, but the Tommies (5-2-3) picked it up in the second half, scoring three unanswered goals in the 3-1 final.
 
Key Stats
- Colin Blandford scored his first career goal.
- Zack Murphy tallied four saves and played 90 minutes, which puts him in third all-time in VMI history for career goalie minutes played.
- Freshmen duo Jack Yough and Miguel Osorto each played 90 minutes, along with Gabriel N'Dakpri and reigning SoCon Offensive Player of the Week Jesse Lee.

- At the halfway point of the first period, Blandford planted a perfect ball in the bottom left corner off a top-of-the-box free kick (21:45).
