LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball had a tough loss to Mercer Friday afternoon at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium to begin the Southern Conference series.
The Keydets (19-12, 3-4 SoCon) drop the series opener to the Bears, 22-2, in seven innings. Due to potential rainy weather on Sunday, VMI-Mercer will play a doubleheader on Saturday, with game one starting at Noon and game two following.
