LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball capped off the nine-game homestand with a victory over Stonehill at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium Wednesday afternoon.
The Keydets (13-4) avenged yesterday's tough loss with an 11-4 triumph over the Skyhawks. With the win, VMI finishes the home stint 6-3 and has scored double-figures in all 13 wins this season.

- Stonehill tied the game in the fifth with another home run, 3-3.
- VMI scored six-straight runs between the fifth and seventh innings, starting with a Prince sacrifice fly and Raile's long ball followed by a RBI double by Peterson, a two-RBI double by Garner, and a Fitzwater sacrifice fly to make it 9-3.
- The Skyhawks got one back in the eighth but another two-RBI double in the gap by Garner sealed the game.
