About Furman (20-8, 8-7)
Despite an 8-7 record in Southern Conference play, the Paladins enter Saturday's contest with confidence coming off an 80-72 upset over former league leader Samford Wednesday night. Furman has been up-and-down during the month of February and is due for a loss based on its win-loss-win-loss pattern the past few weeks. The Paladins have defeated Western Carolina, Mercer and Samford while falling to ETSU, Chattanooga and UNCG.

Furman is led by PJay Smith, Jr., who is averaging 16.8 points per game this season. Nick Anderson is the other Paladin averaging 13.8 points per outing over the course of the season. Ben VanderWal is the top rebounder at 5.4 rpg, and Smith directos the attack with 95 assists on the year.

All-Time Series History vs. Furman (38-71)
The Keydets look to continue to cut into the deficit in the all-time series history as Wofford owns 24 wins to VMI's 10. Three weeks ago on January 29, the Keydets went into Spartanburg and earned a 74-67 win over the Terriers, their first win at the venue in three years.

With a victory, VMI will have earned its third conference series sweep of the season as the Keydets have won both contests this season against The Citadel and Western Carolina and look to add Furman to the list. The last time VMI won three conference series in a single season happened during the 2010-11 season in the Big South, and the 1995-96 season as a member of the SoCon.
