The Keydets (5-9, 1-4 SoCon) showed resilience against Campbell last weekend in a 24-17 road loss. VMI seeks its first road league win of the season.
 
Stepping up last week was 167-pounders Ryan Vigil who took down the 29th ranked wrestler in the nation in an 11-7 decision. Vigil has won three straight SoCon bouts. Patrick Jordon continues to dominate at 149 pounds, racking up his ninth dual victory and going a perfect 4-0 in the conference.
 
Davidson enters the match 3-12 overall and 1-5 SoCon record, while Citadel is 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the league. The Bulldogs will face Campbell on Friday before traveling to the Institute.
 
VMI has had a successful history against the Wildcats and Bulldogs, boasting a 77-2-1 record against Davidson and a 43-27 split against Citadel. Last season, the Keydets lost to both squads.
