LEXINGTON, Va. – After more than two weeks away from home, the VMI basketball team returns to Lexington to face in-state foe Christendom Friday night at Cameron Hall.
Tip-off is set for a 7:30 p.m. start and has been tabbed as the "Christmas in Cameron" game where all fans are encouraged to wear ugly Christmas sweaters. Fans can make their way over from the Lexington Christmas Parade and meet Santa Claus in the front lobby before and during the game. Hot cocoa will also be offered at the concessions stands.
The Keydets were out of town for 10 days playing four games in the state of Florida. VMI faced Stetson on November 22, played against Buffalo and Bowling Green in the Fort Myers Tip-Off tournament and finished with a game at UCF last Saturday, November 29.
About Christendom (1-5)
The Crusaders look to pick up their second win of the season after opening the 2025-26 campaign with losses to Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State Du Bois before earning a 60-53 win over Valley Forge on November 15.
